Simple, upfront pricing. Every appointment at Back In Health is a full osteopathy consultation – history, assessment and hands-on treatment – so it can be claimed as osteopathy through your private health extras. We have HICAPS on the spot, so you only pay the gap.

What each appointment costs

Initial consultation and treatment $150
60 minutes. For new patients, or if it has been more than 12 months since your last visit. Includes your history, a full assessment and treatment.

Standard consultation and treatment $110
30 minutes. Follow-up appointments.

45 minutes. For more than one area, or when you would like more time.

FAQ
Health funds, Medicare and payment
Can I claim on my private health insurance?
Yes, if your extras cover includes osteopathy. We have HICAPS, so we process the claim on the spot and you only pay the gap. The rebate depends on your fund and level of cover – if you are unsure, check with your fund before your appointment.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly with us online or by phone. A referral is only needed if you are coming under a Medicare care plan from your GP.
Can I use a Medicare care plan (CCMP)?
Yes. If your GP has set up a Chronic Condition Management Plan that includes osteopathy, bring the referral with you. You pay our standard fee at the time of your appointment and we process the Medicare rebate for you.
Do you accept WorkCover, TAC and DVA?
Yes, we routinely treat patients under WorkCover, TAC and DVA. Bring your claim number and any referral or approval paperwork to your first appointment, and let us know when you book so we can set it up correctly.
How can I pay?
We accept EFTPOS, credit and debit cards, and HICAPS claims at the front desk. Payment is made at the time of your appointment.
